Dave Green has contacted us with the sad news of John's death.
Today I have received the sad news of the passing of John, from a heart attack, on Friday 22nd July from his daughter Emma.
John was a friend of over 50 years after working with him at Ashton T.E.C on Shepley Industrial Estate, Manchester North and then also in Manchester Central.
Dave has updated us as follows, there will be no funeral.
I have had further details from Emma, that John will not be having a funeral.
He originally wanted to offer his body for medical science but that has not been possible. His next wish was no funeral but to have a Pure Cremation, so that has been arranged by the family.
